A request from Coach Z.  If your swimmers are unable to attend the meet or are missing a practice - please email myself as well as Coach Z.  You can use the Communications tab in the website, compose and enter our names for auto populate.

The Swimtopia website is now open for registering your swimmer's availability for next Monday's away meet at Colonies.  It is important that you PLEASE go online and register the availability or non-availability for this meet.  Last week we had late responses which caused a revision of the heat sheet at the last minute.  We know all of you like to have the heat sheets early so that you can identify and prepare your swimmers for their events.  Last minute changes confuse and frustrate all of us.  So go ahead and navigate while on the website to the Colonies Meet under Schedule and mark attending or not.  Also, you can sign up for Volunteer spots as well.

• Braun Oaks has tables and lawn area on the far side of the pool.
• Ample parking is available.
• Concessions are available with pork sliders, nachos, chips, candy and drinks.
• Credit Card access is available.  Cash is also preferred for when technology fails !
• Braun Oaks warm up is at 5:30 PM.
• Timer meeting at 5:45 PM.  Braun Oaks will provide our volunteers' stop watches.
• Meet starts at 6:00 PM.
• Meet entries deadline is Friday evening.  We have to have our events filled so that Colonies can close the entry.
• Colonies has 68 swimmers. We have 82. It will be a large meet.

CHAMPS UPDATE:

I know there was initially some confusion on the assigned date for our Division II.  It is Thursday, June 26th at Northside Swim Center.  Starts at 10:00 AM.

Northside has asked us for a list of on-deck parents that will be volunteers. This year, each volunteer that will be on deck or in the tent will need to complete the volunteer background check.  This is a new requirement that all swim team reps and coaches had to complete before the start of the season.  Northside will require this for our Braun Oaks volunteers as well.   Stay tuned for the link.  I will need a list of name by next week.  The access for swimmer and volunteer availability for Champs will be open tomorrow, Friday, June 13, 2025.  I will send a reminder to have you go online and mark availability.

Group photos will be Tuesday,  June 16, 2025 at 8:00 AM at the pool. We will do this before practice. Photography by Godsey will be at the pool to take individual photos and the team photo.  Wear your Braun Oaks team shirt.  I will forward a price list shortly.  He can accept check or credit card.
